Instruction for Partnering
Schedule and Population for Screening
- Beginning from March 2016
- Screening for all permanent and temporary women staff
- Screening for all women relatives of male permanent staff and temporary
- Per day screenings – 50 (Breast Cancer); and 100 (Cervical Cancer)
Awareness Talks
- Awareness lectures can be arranged to be addressed by Dr. C.B. Koppiker .
- Lectures will be of 45minutes duration, followed by 15minutes of interaction with the audience.
- The calendar of the awareness lectures to discussed and confirmed on 6 January 2016
Screening Specifics
- Only Clinical Breast Examination by trained female paramedics (for age group between 25-35)
- Mammography will be only for women of age 35+
Screening Reports
- Mammography data will be collected at the bus computer generated in 48 hours.
- Only those women who have abnormal findings will be contacted directly for follow-up (sonography/biopsy etc) with discounted(50%) charges at Orchids Clinic.
Patient and Demographic Data
- Questionnaire about female health + informed consent for maintaining e-database.
- Women's health related questionnaire will be send to the host before the actual day of screening camp.
- The participant is requested to fill it up before and bring along on the screening day
Support from Hosts
- Staff members of local host organization would need to be involved with pre-camp propaganda, RSVP and camp co-ordination during the stipulated hours except lunch time.
- The women should be preferably above 25 to 65 yrs of age.
Infrastructural support from Partners
- Proper electric supply from the mains plug of 15 AMP.
- A small room adjacent to the bus to conduct cervical cancer screenings
- Ample parking space for the for Volvo bus, if possible in the shade.
- If the electric supply in not enough adequate petrol for the generator.
- Refreshments and lunch for the staff of 5 to 6 people.
- We would like to have one volunteer from Tata Motors to do the registration of the ladies.
