It is the first NGO in Maharashtra to house state of the art breast imaging facility. This centre enables women to have their digital mammography, breast ultrasonography, specialist consultation, minimally invasive biopsies and procedures all under one roof, with a quick turn around time.In addition to this, Prashanti aims to increase breast awareness amongst women through specific programs and initiate research and clinical trial participation in related fields.

Our Day Care Centre

Prashanti Cancer Care Mission has an exclusive day care center for chemotherapy administration. It includes an expanded day stay for patients needing chemotherapy, blood products, and other types of infusions or advanced services which might otherwise require hospitalization. Day care chemotherapy has the advantage of avoiding disruption in the day to day life of cancer patients and their families while minimizing treatment costs. This day care administration allows the patient to walk home the same day after chemotherapy infusion saving both time and resources. The day hospital offers extended hours, a variety of comforting treatment settings and advanced care support. Its goal is to help cancer patients fit medical care into their lives.

The Day Care Centre is run by fully trained staff comprising of nurses who work under the supervision of an oncologist. It offers different treatment settings to fit the needs of individual patients. Six special chemotherapy chairs help patients receive their therapy in a light, open environment that allows for interaction with others.
